Most of the Conservative wards are safe, but the party must be looking with some concern at the split ward of Filton and the three marginal seats in Charlton and Cribbs ward: Labour are the challengers in both those wards. Without further ado, lets get out into the country: In the North East region all councils are holding ordinary elections except Northumberland and Durham.
